custom reptile cage examples

leopard gecko/ball python.

terrestrial cage with low power UV and heating. many hiding spaces provided and ample opportunity to dig. enrichment with logs/slate giving depth. plants to support the bioactive setup. springtails/woodlouse/earthworms (deeper soil needed). basic water setup as desert dwellers. using a lose soil for desert species.

tree frogs

arboreal setup with backgrounds to aid climbing. planted climbers for plant cover higher and lower. perches with logs. moss for humidity, and automatic misters at the top. bioactive. UV, heating varies per species.

chameleon/arboreal geckos

branches to aid climbing for chameleons. focus is plants with height, or planted into the background. strong UV for chameleons, dirt background so the glass doesn't affect them (they like to be scared of their reflection). high humidity environment with ample hiding opportunities at each height level.

(ideal for crested geckos/smaller chameleons eg hoehnelii.

small terrestrial lizard, spiny tailed monitor, collard lizards.

hot tank with temperature gradient, basking spot. logs for height and enrichment. durable plants to withstand claws and provide bioactive environment. (this tank is not finished, it still requires UV, larger water dish and should be wood not glass.)

types of cages we provide:

bioactive:

we plant suitable and easy plants to keep inside the cage and use very small insects such as springtails, woodlouse and other animals to preserve the tank, keep mold, fungus away and to clean up after the animal meaning you don't need to clean up after the animal as much. (and it looks better)

arboreal:

vertical tanks that support chameleons and geckos with plants of varying heights and water features (depending on species).

water/land:

a mix of land and water, for species that are semi-aquatic (garter snakes, crocodile lizards). we provide with/without filters meaning you may need some knowledge of these types of tanks yourself.

insect/micro cages:

we also do invertebrate cages, smaller plastic/acrylic cages for insects planted and bioactive.

for a discounted price, we send you the tank, and all the products we would use to create it so you can build it yourself. we find the right plants and accessory's and you construct it with the right parts. (25% discount).
